Verbal adverbs and verbal nouns (čitajući, pročitavši, čitanje)

Čitajući knjigu, zaspao sam. — While reading the book, I fell asleep. (same subject required)
Rekavši to, otišao je. — Having said that, he left. (written; in speech: Kad je to rekao, otišao je.)
Učenje jezika je zabavno. — Learning a language is fun.

Verbal adverbs don't change. Some are used as adjectives: idući tjedan / sljedeća sedmica — next week; tekuća voda — running water.
