Comparatives and superlatives

than after a comparative: Zurich is bigger than Bern. After “than”, use an object pronoun or a full clause: taller than me / taller than I am.
Equality: as … as: She's as tall as her father. — not as / not so … as: It's not as cold as yesterday.
Growing difference: more and more expensive, bigger and bigger. Parallel change: The more you practise, the better you speak.
Stronger or weaker: much / far / a lot cheaper, a bit / slightly cheaper. the same as, different from, like (similar to).
Superlative + in for places and groups, of for periods: the tallest building in the world, the best day of my life.
