Les pronoms compléments (me, him, her, us, them) se placent après le verbe et après les prépositions : Call me (appelle-moi). It's for them (c'est pour eux). Aussi dans les réponses courtes : “Who's there?” — “Me.” (Qui est là ? — Moi.)
Pronoms réfléchis : myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, yourselves, themselves.
you et they s'emploient pour « on » : You can't park here (on ne peut pas se garer ici). They say it will rain (on dit qu'il va pleuvoir).
there is / there are = « il y a » (quelque chose existe) ; it renvoie à une chose déjà connue :
There is a café near the station. It is very good. (Il y a un café près de la gare. Il est très bon.) — There are two problems (il y a deux problèmes). — There was an accident (il y a eu un accident). — There has been a mistake (il y a eu une erreur). — Is there any milk? (Il y a du lait ?)
